Refund Policy

Last updated: September 3, 2026

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for purchases of Rameau products. Rameau ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Rameau SpA. Payments for Rameau products are processed by Paddle, which acts as the authorised reseller for our software and digital products. This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Paddle's Buyer Terms and Conditions.

1. Overview

Rameau is offered on a subscription basis (Personal and Scale plans billed monthly; Enterprise billed by agreement), together with add-on credits ("top-ups") that may be purchased separately. Every new Organization receives a free 14-day trial before any payment is required.

2. Global Refund Policy

2.1 Unless required by applicable law, all transactions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

2.2 Rameau, through Paddle, may issue refunds on a discretionary basis. A discretionary refund request must be submitted within 14 days of the transaction date. Submitting a request within this period does not guarantee a refund.

2.3 Refunds will not be issued where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour.

2.4 If you receive a refund in accordance with this Policy, access to the relevant product will cease.

3. Statutory Withdrawal Rights

Where local consumer protection law grants you a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase, that right overrides this Policy. The applicable withdrawal periods are:

  • European Union, EEA, Switzerland, United Kingdom: 14 days from the transaction date.
  • Turkey, Israel: 14 days from the transaction date.
  • South Korea, Brazil, China, Canada: 7 days from the transaction date.
  • Singapore: 5 days from the transaction date.

4. Free Trial

The 14-day trial is free of charge; no payment method is required to begin and no charges occur during the trial. Because the trial is free, no refund applies to it.

5. Subscriptions and Credits

  • Personal and Scale plans are billed monthly in advance. If you cancel, access continues until the end of the current billing period and the subscription will not renew. No refund is issued for the unused portion of the current period, except as set out in Sections 2 and 3.
  • Base-plan credits are a usage allowance included in the subscription, reset each billing period, and do not roll over; they are not refundable as a separate item. Top-up credits expire three (3) months after issuance.
  • Add-ons and one-time transactions (including top-up credits) follow the same refund criteria as the main transaction, unless local law provides otherwise.

6. Technical or Product Defects

If you experience persistent technical issues or a material defect that prevents you from accessing the features or benefits as described, please contact Rameau first at [email protected] to attempt to resolve the issue or request a refund. If the issue cannot be resolved, contact Paddle's support team and provide details of the issue and any response received from Rameau.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or exercise a withdrawal right, contact Paddle using one of the following methods:

  • the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your transaction confirmation email;
  • the support link provided in your receipt or within your account's billing page; or
  • Paddle's buyer support site at https://paddle.net.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your transaction governs that transaction. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
